I was down at way this morning. The Hampton is easy walking distance to the Festival Area- about 3 blocks-and is right near City Hall- It%26#39;s highrise and clearly geraed toward business travelers.Tthe Days Inn is about 20 blocks to the West- in a very dicey area- the Salvation Army Rehab center as well as several other social service agencies are across the street- lots of ';Adult Video '; stores etc as well- the Hampton is clearly a better choice- but certainly won%26#39;t be cheap. If the Hampton is the choice the McGuires Pub across the street would be a good eating venue- as well as several spots like Downtowner Saloon that are close to the Festival. Hope it all works out!
