naples all expensive?

Are there any cheap eateries or pubs in naples or is it all expenisve and up-market?

naples all expensive?

No, not everything in Naples is expensive, but it%26#39;s not a very reasonably-priced area to vacation. However, there are many chain restaurants and small, family-owned and operated restaurants and bars. Some of my favorites are Pinchers Crab Shack and Mel%26#39;s Diner (which has great breakfasts and specials), and Watermark Grille, all on US 41 in the Northern part of Naples. There is more than one Mel%26#39;s Diner in Naples.

Also, The Fishhouse and Rodes Fresh and Fancy on Bonita Beach Rd. in Bonita Springs are good. This area is just North of Naples. I%26#39;m sure there are many, many others. The downtown area of Naples, also called ';Old Naples'; is a very upscale, expensive area. But it%26#39;s still fun to stroll and window shop!

For reasonable eateries downtown try: The Olde Naples Pub (13th Ave.S)or Paddy Murphys Pub on 5th Ave.

Also, a short distance north, The Village Pub in Venetian Village(From downtown, go US41 North, turn west on Parkshore Dr., go to end of Parkshore Dr. on the right)

Or Mr. Mom%26#39;s Diner a short distance east of downtown on US41, on the right, for great casual home cooking.

You can always try Perkins Restaurant. On 41.

the clocks another cheap and cheerful dinner, i think its also on the 41

Rodes Fish market, Randys Fishmarket,

Anthony%26#39;s, Naples Tomatoes...etc..

If you havge a car, 41 or Tamiani Trail is the main

north/South road. Downtown to Bonita Beach Road is about 12 miles. Along there you can

find anything and

everything...Downtown is quaint but

totally overrated and over priced.

In addition to almost ALL of the better-known restaurant chains, there are lots of cheap eateries with good food in the Naples area. This time of year traffic is an issue, so knowing what part of Naples you will be in would make it easier to offer close-by suggestions. For example, it takes about 45 minutes to drive to Bonita Beach from downtown Naples, so I can%26#39;t imagine wanting to drive that far for a cheap meal.
