Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, or...

We are going to be in the Orlando and Tampa area for the week of 9/24/05-10/01/05. We want to go to 1 or 2 of the following parks: Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, or Busch Gardens. We have already been to all Disney parks and don%26#39;t want to do those again, at this time. We will have young children (ages 6 and under who like rides). Any suggestions or input. Also, should we purchase tickets online prior to arriving or are there any chances of getting a better discount there? Thank you for your help!!!!!

Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, or...

100% Seaworld

Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, or...

Would choose sea world and Busch, you can get a ticket that is discounted that has entry to both parks on it.

hey dcb....... you could save the money and take your children to Rhyl fair............ i dont beleive i sugested that!!!!!!!!!! not really a comparison is there?

I think you are dead right about not bothering with the Disney Parks again. When my kids were that age they loved Sea World much more than MK. Busch Gardens is fabulous for any age there is something there for them.

Others are more able to comment on the costs and ticketing but we were always able to get a bit of a discount from somewhere.

Don%26#39;t get me wrong. We loved Disney. We just don%26#39;t want to turn into those types of people that do Disney every year or every other year. We want to try something different.

Definitely Sea World and Universal!

Seaworld is absolutely the right choice, and Busch has something for everyone...especially if you have young children. Buy your tickets at the Seaworld ticket counter and you will get a discounted deal that includes both parks. Islands of Adventures would have far less for the youngsters to enjoy.

Have a great trip

Pam

As you are in Tampa, try Busch Gardens (haven%26#39;t been recently but really enjoyed it years ago!). Universal %26amp; Sea World (and BG) are all part of the same company, so you may be able to get a joint ticket to get into each location

Would say Sea World and Universal Studios for your aged children. Busch Gardens is mainly thrill rides (coasters and water flumes) and much better for older kids who prefer same. There are several good rides and play areas at Universal for the youngsters and Sea World has several good shows, play areas and exibits for same.

Sea World has GREAT shows!
