Orlando 4th of July

Hello !

We are a family (two children aged 12 and 15)who are planning to stay in Orlando for 5 days next summer. We will be in Orlando from the 29th of June and check out on July the 4th. Is there something special in Orlando to celebrate the Independence day so we should stay one more night or is it better to be at the Gulf Coast during that night?

Anyone who could give an advice on where to stay at the Gulf?

I also would love to have some ideas of where to stay in Orlando, we are only planning to visit Epcot in Disney so it feels like we should not stay in Disney Area?

Should we rent a villa, stay in a resort or what is the best. We will have a rented car during the whole stay?

Cattis,

Fourth of July fireworks are fabulous at all the Disney parks. However it is very, very crowded and hot, very very hot. Friends of ours could not get into the Magic Kingdom on the 4th as the park was at capacity.

Since your only going to one Disney park I don%26#39;t see any reason to stay at a Disney resort and yes I would then rent a car for your whole stay in Orlando.

One of the best firework displays in Orlando is the fireworks at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. You can catch public transportation or a taxi cab to downtown and then back to your hotel once the event is done, it is well worth it.
