Hi, all. I am from Melbourne Florida visiting St. Augustine for the first time in a few weeks and my wife LOVES steamed or grilled clams. Does anyone have any suggestions of what restaurants have that?
Steamed/Grilled Clams
What%26#39;s the saying, not supposed to eat clams in months with an ';r'; in it? Is that the saying?
Or is it ok to eat clams in a month with an ';r';
in it? Help? Anyway, someone else will have to
answer this one for you, sorry. I only eat clams in Northern climes where they are born.
Not familiar with Florida clams.
Steamed/Grilled Clams
My favorite restaurant was the Seafood Market, but it burned down last year. Got the drafting table out and designing a restaurant that is going to be serving just that. Summer of 2006.
My neighbors and I just steamed a bushel of oysters which some of our guests from Appalachicola brought yesterday out in our parking lot . Don%26#39;t know of a place that offers steamed clams here, though you can buy them at most stores. Seafood Kitchen has moved 6 miles away and I know they have a good raw bar (steamed too), but I think we%26#39;re more of an oyster town.
