Would the Hampton Inn be close to downtown for the Blues Festival? As long as she could get there, it would be OK. I%26#39;m not familiar with Ft Lauderdale!
Thanks Lulutoo
Yes, it iss Downtown a few blocks north of the Riverwalk area. I%26#39;m still not recommending that it be walked, although it might be possible. There also may be a bus that runs down Andrews Avenue by the hotel.
You can look at the reviews of Hampton Inn Downtown on this site and it will also connect to to Expedia where there is a map.
It is certainly much more expensive than Days Inn ( for good reason). While the reviews are not entirely good, it doesn%26#39;t have the same issues you probably saw for Days Inn- much more a businessman%26#39;s hotel. I think there is also a Comfort Inn Downtown south of Riverwalk. I%26#39;ll check that out and repost later today- I will be in that area later this morning.
This is the height of the tourist season so hotels are expensive and frequently full of pre cruise customers.
