Porchside Paradise

On the advice of everyone I have changed my hotel from the Radisson way up on Roosevelt to a Key West Vacation rental called Porchside Paradise...Though the company had many different properties there were only a few left during my time frame. Has anyone stayed with this company or on this property/condo? It is on Petronia Street between Duval and Center Street. Am I in the right area to be in? A lot of people have talked about the wrong end of Duval etc...Please let me know

It took me a coupla minutes to find Center on my little map. You are now...

2 and 1/2 blocks from Blue Heaven for Breakfast or a late lunch, and 3 1/2 blocks from santiaog%26#39;s Bodega.

5 blocks from Caroline Street which means about 7 blocks t0 B.O.%26#39;s and Pape%26#39;s, and 9 blocks to the Key West Bight and all of the goof bars.

5 and 1/2 blocks from Kelly%26#39;s on Whitehead, then another block to the Green Parrot and the Hogg%26#39;s Breath, then 3 blocks to Mallory Square and El Meson de Pepe.

5 blocks to the Southernmost point, 6 to the Southern most House and 6 to the Duval Beach Club.

One half block off Duval. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find all of the good places on, or just off, Duval.

You are right in the center of the island, the location is perfect. We%26#39;ve stayed in that general area three times, and once on Center itself. As close as it is to the action, you%26#39;ll find it relatively quiet, as Center/Petronia/Olivia etc. are narrow less travelled lanes.
