what is the fantasmic dinner package

what exactly is it ? can you see the show without it and do you have a better view if you book the dinner as well...we are going in April and we have made a couple of reservations for other character meals but everyone seems to think this one is wonderful so I am thinking we should book this as well.....

Fantasmic is a show in MGM Studios. It is held in a large seated auditorium normally once or sometimes twice every evening.

As it is one of the best shows it is very popular and not to be missed. Crowds start waiting for entrance around 90 mins before show time to get pick of seats.

Another way to ensure a good seat is to book the Fantasmic Dinner Package. You can eat at Mama Melrose Italian Diner. Hollywood and Vine which is buffet selection or Brown Derby which is a little more expensive. You will be given a voucher at restaurant when you are having your meal which entitles you to go into Fantasmic auditorium at a different entrance and you are seated in a special area off to the right when entering. They are good seats but are a little off to the side. However it does mean you can just turn up 20 mins or so before show and no need to wait in long lines. Also easier at end of show as you come out a different entrance ahead of the main crowds for a quick getaway.

I would recommend doing it this way especially during busier times of the year.

Yes, I highly recommend the Fantasmic Dinner Package! It%26#39;s a wonderful musical with fireworks, lasers, water fountains special effects with the Disney characters. If your going to eat dinner at MGM anyway it%26#39;s well worth it as you don%26#39;t pay any extra. This way you don%26#39;t have to stand in line and your guaranteed a seat. Of the three restaurants offered in the package we prefer Hollywood and Vine as it is the less expensive (unless your on the dining plan then it doesn%26#39;t matter) We also prefer the Hollywood and Vine as it is a buffet and pleases everyone in our family.

Im interested in this package also. So do you just make your telephone reservation as normal and wait for the voucher to be presented to you whilst there, or do you have to mention you want the show/dinner package on making the reservation?

You can mention you are booking to get Fantasmic ticket but I am sure this would be known anyway. You can book in advance by telephone or during less busy times just book on arrival at MGM. Whatever you do dont miss Fantasmic. Its great......

It has been highly recommended to me not miss this. I am going in april and I called

last week to make a reservation for the package. the times are already very booked.

We have to eat at 330 --the only time left. We are going to eat at mamas.

It is recommende to sit on the left side of the stadium because that is where Micky is at the end when he fights off the villan.

The real upside to this package is less wait.You will not get particularly good seats, so if that is your main priority you will have to endure at least 1hr. wait.If there are two shows the second will be less crowded.

We did the fantasmic package and ate at the Hollywood Brown Derby and I have to say that we had a cracking meal and would go back again, try the cobb salad for starters!! The package is a great time saver!!

Definitely go for the package. We went to H %26amp; Vine - good meal and then just walked to Fantasmic - no Queue!. Yes seats are slightly off centre but did not really spoil the view we had. - We arrived about 20 mins before ths how started and they were still streaming in and the queue looked horrendous. I shall be beooking this again for later on this year.
