Romantic beach weekend without a car? Can it be done?

Trying to plan a quick weekend at the beach - Feb. 25028. We%26#39;d be flying in from St. Louis. We%26#39;d rather not rent a car. Can this be done? Any recommendations of where to stay and how to get there from the airport? We are young at heart - 50%26#39;s
