Hi, Could anybody please tell me what the weather and crowds will be like from about the 20th of April?
Weather and crowds in April
Norn Iron,
Can%26#39;t promise anything however generally April weather is warm but not too hot not to enjoy the parks. The third of of April is still considered spring break period and is usually quite crowded so be sure to utilize for fast pass options.
Weather and crowds in April
The weather has been very odd this year so far, but generally April is a very nice month weather-wise. We are still in our dry season, so there%26#39;s not too much rain. The highs are usually in the low 80%26#39;s, so it%26#39;s not too hot (or humid) but it%26#39;s hot enough to enjoy a swim or to sunbathe.
Easter is late this year, on the 16th of April, and the Easter crowds usually hang around for about a week after the holiday. Then the crowds go down quite a bit and stay lower until the last weekend in May (Memorial Day-the beginning of Summer in the US).
I think you have chosen the perfect time to visit Florida - we%26#39;ve been many times and the end of April/beginning of May would be our top choice.
Crowds in the parks are quite low and you should be able to get on rides with a minimum wait - with many you will have virtually no wait time at all. The downside and main issue you need to look out for is school parties which seem to like this time of year for their trips. Even so, they tend to split into manageable groups.
As for the weather, I find it a little chilly in the evenings, so you may need a jacket and either trousers or jeans. Through the day is lovely - not too hot and not too cold.
For this year, Easter is April 16th and the week following that will be very busy with spring break...lots of families...lots of kids...lots of crowds.
The first few days of your trip will be crowded in the theme parks, but after the weekend of the 22nd/23rd, the crowds should diminish some.
Weather should be very nice with warm days and cool nights. Might want a light jacket and pants for early mornings and evenings, but other than that, it should be great.
