Has anyone stayed at an island home called Margarita Villa and what kind of shape is the island really in after the recent hurricanes?

The canopy is gone, as it is on Sanibel, but it%26#39;s more noticable on Captiva, especially along Captiva Drive up to Tween Waters Inn.

Haven%26#39;t Stayed in Margaritaville villa. I know the place and the photos show a new interior. It is in the area of the island considered to be Captiva Village and pretty much walking distance to restaurants, though walking along Captiva Drive at night is a bit risky. That area lost some of its privacy with the loss of all the plants and trees, but it%26#39;s far enough off the road that the traffic on Captiva Drive sould be an issue. The area is just more open now.

These owners (assuming you%26#39;re renting direct) seem to really take care of their properties.
