Universal or Islands of Adventure??

We want to take our 10 year old son to either Universal or Islands of Adventure. We have never been to either.

Please tell us which one would be more interesting and fun for a 10 year old.

Flacolor1, back in July you asked the same question about Universal vs. IOA , hotel recommendations and celebrating your son%26#39;s birthday. What sort of information are you now looking for that wasn%26#39;t provided then?

I have just got back from Orlando, I went to both parks and they were both excellent. But I think IOA is aimed more at the youngsters. But I would do both if you can.

I took my kids in June and my 11 yo enjoyed Universal Studios more. Guess it depends on the kid. If your kid is adventurous and loves roller coasters then IOA might be better for him.

I have a 10 year old son who enjoys both parks but IOA is his favorite of the two.

If your son isn%26#39;t in to coasters, I%26#39;d opt for the Studios side. If he enjoys them then it%26#39;s IOA all the way.

We enjoyed the Hard Rock hotel and it%26#39;s a short walk to Universal.
