The reason I have posted this subject is because I am planning ahead so I can work the bank holidays and earn extra cash for my holiday next year.
Does anyone know the answer to this?
As Xmas Day is is on a Sunday this year. Does that mean we get an extra day off on Tuesday? So boxing day on Mon and possibly tues as bank hol. Reason I ask is because Xmas on a Sunday kind of lose out work wise. Also would same happen on New years day as that also on Sunday?
Hope this makes sense..
England Bank holidaysYes, we get the Monday and Tuesday off after Xmas as bank holidays and the Monday after New Year%26#39;s day is a bank holiday.

Just for clarification, the Tuesday after New Year is NOT a bank holiday, New years day is on a Sunday so the Monday becomes the bank holiday, back to work on the Tuesday I%26#39;m afraid.
