Hi everyone, I am new here and have a question for all you experts. We really want to buy a timeshare, but everytime I find one that I think is great, I read horror stories on trip advisor. Does anyone know of any that are just awesome. Please advise,as we want to buy one soon. Thanks for any help
Gold crown timeshare or not
I have yet to find a financially sensible deal concerning timeshares. People who bought years ago boast they bought for $8,000 and pay only $300 per year for maintenance. Not so anymore if you want an above average place to stay. We just went to a presentation at the Sheraton Vistana Villages, and a timeshare costs $18,000 for a 2-br condo (low season)...and over $1000 per year in maintenance. When you cost that out over 20 years....thats $1900 per year for one week at the SVV or similar resort? Well....I%26#39;ll pay the regular rate of $190 per night for the 2-br condo at SVV....($1300.00 for the week) thank you!
If you find a bargain out there in timeshare land....let us in on it!!

Check out the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club in Kissimmee. There are lots of options and they are not really expensive. It%26#39;s also fairly new, not old and used like some of the other ones in Orlando.
We purchased our timeshare off of Ebay. Go under Real Estate and Timeshares for sale. They are significantly cheaper on Ebay and I wouldn%26#39;t purchase them any other way! If you are going to go on a regular vacation (like once a year), IMO, timeshares are the way to go!!
Good luck!
The secondary market is the way to go. We bought ours on e-bay 3 yrs ago %26amp; I feel that we got a great deal. We have enjoyed our ';home'; timeshare %26amp; are now exchanging. Also, all timeshares have resale units available. Why pay thousands when you could just pay hundreds. Very happy!
They have a new timeshare in orlando called bluegreen vacation club. I got booked right out of the comfort inn%26#39;s lobby. I went there for 90 minutes, got my free tickets to dolly partons dinner show and left. I wasnt interested but if u want a timeshare, heres a great one to visit. Just go to the main lobby of the comfort inn , at the tivcket booth and they will send you. Very low pressure sales.
We don%26#39;t own, but we rented many (you can rent the timeshares without owning a timeshare). Anyways, the nicest one we stayed in was Embassy Grand Beach. Great Location! Great Amenities! Three Bedrooms!
