Hi we are looking to book Sheraton Vistana Village - International Drive.... Is it within walking distance of shops, restaurants etc? I understand we will have to drive to the resorts.

It%26#39;s not walking distance from anything. I would say you would need a car for everything at this resort, however shops and restaurants close by car. However, it%26#39;s a great place. I%26#39;d highly recommend.

Are there any restaurants, bars on this resort?

Unfortunately, there isn%26#39;t a restaurant, only a ';deli type'; place that isn%26#39;t open all that much. We found the prices to be quite expensive, so don%26#39;t count on eating here on a budget.

However, again, if you have a car, there is an HUGE grocery store to stock up your frig in your apartment.

There are TONS of great family or otherwise restaurants to eat on I-Drive. I know there%26#39;s a trolley that is like public transportation, but not entirely sure about this. Someone else could comment on this with more accuracy.

Lucky you! We have stayed at The SVV and loved it. You do need a car or taxis though. They have transport to the WDW bits. The shop sells odds and ends but not enough for everyday food. As someone else mentioned, there is a hugh food store a few minutes away. Definitely not within walking distance to anything, although very close by car! Hope you enjoy it.
