We are staying at the Newport Beachside resort in N. Miami...

Are there shuttles from here to get to the port of Miami? Any other suggestions to do so would be great. I would not be opposed to renting a car as parking at the resort is only $5.00.

Any advise or opinions on the car/transport or Newport in general would be welcomed.

I%26#39;m not sure about the shuttle, but I know there is parking across the street that is free, you just need a parking sign from the hotel. I haven%26#39;t stayed there recently, so I would just confirm.
