Any thoughts on the top 3 hotels in moderate to moderate-high price range would be helpful. Prefer good location, near or on beach and pool (if possible).
SoBe - top 3 hotels?
Hotels are everywhere and very close to each other in SoBe. Going from memory, the hotels in the area we like staying include Shore Club, Doubletree Surfcomber, Delano, Sagamore, National, Ritz-Carlton and Royal Palm. All of these hotels are on the beach and have a pool. Each of these hotels have their own unique and interesting personality. I%26#39;d check the reviews of what folks have had to say to help decide which one is right for you.
There are also lots of smaller boutique hotels that have lots of character (and I mean that in a positive manner). Many of these are not on the beach but are less than a 5 minute walk away. Some folks really enjoy these places but as we%26#39;re beach people, we also stay at a hotel that has the beach out its back door.

Just love it!!!
Intimate, I%26#39;m pretty sure all suites.. Completely re-done a few years ago, absolutely spotless and gorgeous Art Deco design!
We stayed in few places, but nothing beats that one!
Right on the beach too. Will be there next weekend.. :)))
