Must-go Restaurant List Wanted!

Hi there!

My husband and I are headed to the keys October 1st and cannot wait!! We%26#39;re staying in Marathon, but will make trips to Key West and to the other islands.

I%26#39;d LOVE to hear what restaurants you recommend most!! We%26#39;d like to have seafood, Italian, Cuban, and anything else that you recommend!!

Which ones should we NOT miss?? :)

There are so many spots to have good seafood in the keys, you could grab a map, stab it with a pin and eat a good meal there.

In Marathon try:

Cuban - try Don Pedro.

Keys Fisheries, Island Tiki Hut, The Quay - all good spots to eat while watching the sunset.

For a more ';keysey'; type atmosphere try the Dockside.

On No Name Key try The No Name Pub - really good pizza.

In Islamorada, try Islamorada Fish Company, and Lor-E-Lei. The later for some decent entertainment while you eat.

Barracuda Grill in Marathon is having their annual hurricane season special, which is a fixed-price deal of $12 and some change. I%26#39;m not sure if it lasts into October, but it%26#39;s well worth trying.

Blue Heaven in KW is closed for vacation until Oct. 14. :(

Square Grouper on Cudjoe is great, as is Mangrove Mamas a few miles west.

I love Little Italy in Layton.

Keys Fisheries in Marathon is a can%26#39;t miss.

The Island is also a locals%26#39; favorite.

I can%26#39;t believe we%26#39;ll miss Blue Heaven!! Bummer.... that%26#39;s the one spot I knew we%26#39;d have to hit!! Oh well....sounds like there will be many places to try.

Any other ideas from anyone?
