My trip is almost set. need some more advice

My family (wife and 2 daughters ages 5 and 2) are going to Disney for 9 nights in early December.

We are spending the first 6 nights at Pop Century and we want to spend the last 3 nights at a moderate but I don%26#39;t know which one to go with. Is the Carribean too big? Is the Cornado too many people in business suits? Mainly what we are looking for in the moderate is a great pool and comfortable rooms. any advice here?

We are also doing the Disney meal plan and we have booked as many character meals as possible.

Cinderella%26#39;s Galla Feast

Crystal Palace

Chef Mickey

Princess Storybook

Ohana

Cinderella%26#39;s Royal table

Donald%26#39;s breakfastosaurus

Hoop Dee Do

Am I forgetting anything or should we not do one of the ones we are planning? is it best to take a taxi to the hotels?

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I want this to be a great trip for my girls and I do appreciate it.

Mike , We like Coronado Springs and have never found it too businesslike. The pool has a Mayan pyramid and there is a large lake that the buildings surround all decorated with fairy lights. It is lovely and our first choice of moderates. Second would be Port Orlean%26#39;s French Quarter, small intimate and access to Downtown Disney. Doubloon Lagoon pool with Sea Serpent slide. Riverside we don%26#39;t care for and Caribbean Beach we haven%26#39;t stayed at, living in Florida the atmosphere isn%26#39;t exotic enough. Check out www.mearstransportation.com and www.tiffanytowncars.com to see their rates and give you an idea about what may be the best way for you to go.

Mike, take advantage of the Magical Express Service. Complimentary baggage transfer service from the Orlando Airport to your hotel roundtrip. Saves you $$$.

NMike,

You did a great job booking all those character meals! Definitely take advantage of Disney%26#39;s transportation to and from the airport!

Our favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans Riverside. There is a cute Sea Serpent pool at the French Quarter side which Riverside can use also. Riverside has a kiddie pool called Ol%26#39; Man Island along with 4 or 5 other pools throughout the resort. There is a wonderful playground at the Port Orleans Riverside next to the pool also. I would consider the PO as one of your moderate choices. Our second choice for moderate would be Caribbean Beach with the Coronado coming in last. The pool at the Caribbean Beach has a waterfall and a pirate theme. The Coronado has a Mayan pyramid theme. Overall we just didn%26#39;t like the Coronado%26#39;s layout and it did feel too business like for us. However, there are people who like this resort so you may!
