Changing Hotels

Currently booked to stay in the holiday inn International in late April and am thinking of changing to one of the Disney All Star hotels.I am taking the non driving optionand am a bit worried about transport to seaworld. Anybody any thoughts on which hotel to go for? all advice will be welcomed. What about transport from disney to seaworld?

Changing Hotels

Transport to ';None Disney'; Attractions when staying in Disney Hotels without a car is not easy or cheap.

If you are not going to have a car and you want to got to other parks , resturaunts, and shops stick with the I drive option

Changing Hotels

If you change to a Disney resort, getting from the airport to the resort won%26#39;t be a problem; Disney takes care of this for you now. When you book the room, just tell them you need the ';Magical Express'; airport transportation.

You%26#39;ll probably have to do taxi cab from Disney resort to Seaworld. Disney only provides tranportation to their own properties.

From the main Disney transportation centre, you can easily get a Lynx bus over to Seaworld. I can%26#39;t remember which number bus, but I think it%26#39;s the 50. I%26#39;m sure others have written on here before with details of the Lynx website. The journey from Disney to Seaworld takes about 20 mins and is very reasonably priced. I visited last May and holiday details are a little vague now ... sorry.

Yes,it is Lynx route 50 from TTC to Seaworld.

xr759 only planning to do disney parks and seaworld and maybe a few outlets and malls wouldnt mind paying taxis unless the fares too expensive.

If most of your time will be at Disney I would stay on-site. There are shuttles offered by Lynx and Mears and there are always taxis. Depending on how many people are in your party would determine which you would need.

It is not a problem to go from a Disney hotel to Seaworld. We did it in December. We found the cheapest and easiest way was to take a taxi. It ran about $24 one way. The hotel bellman will get you a taxi when you are ready to leave. On the return trip we found several taxis waiting at Seaworld, so we could just hop one whenever we were ready to return to the hotel.

thanks for this too, transport from WDW to Seaworld was another question on my list :-)

I have stayed at the All Stars and I HATED it. It was just a friend and myself. The rooms were TINY compared to staying at other Disney resorts. I put out the ';do not disturb'; sign. We were out late, tired and had a late check out. Housekeeping still banged on the door, just before 8am. The walls are paper thin. The bus that took us from the park to the All Stars took forever. We commented to one another it would have been faster to deal with the monorail trying to get out of the park and then the parking lot than to take the bus.

By the way the boat to the parking lost is faster than the monorail.

It was cheap? Yes. You get what you pay for? Right again. However, my brother stays at the Holiday Inn Main Gate, the one closest to the Magic Kingdom. Cheap. I expect certain things. But the beds are comfy, can%26#39;t hear every last word being said in the next room and housekeeping was awesome. I have always steared clear of this resort and tell people what I have just told you. Good luck.
