Which area would be the our best choice for spring break for a family with 2 teens and a toddler? We%26#39;d like a beach that is not overcrowded, yet enough activity for our teens. HELP!!! Lido? Siesta key? Longboat? Sanibel? Need advice.
best area for family during spring breakI would suggest Siesta Key (Crescent Beach has the nicest sand you will ever run across). Beach is not overly crowded (it%26#39;s pretty wide at many points). Close to many Sarasota attractions - there is also a little ';villiage'; with lots of shops and restaurants. We stayed at a place called Tropical Shores, reasonable rates, Gulf side, good location. Down at the public beach on Siesta Key, they have tennis, playgrounds, volley ball, snack bar. Much nicer than Lido or Sanibel.
