It is quite common to see men sunbating topless on the beaches in Ft. Myers.

Never seen topless in Fort Myers however there had been a few in the summer at Lover%26#39;s Key. It is a state park and fobids topless however I did speak to a ranger once who said she does not give out tickets just friendly reminders. (could just be that individual) Sanibel island has more european visiors so in a sparcly populated area of the beach it can be seen. It has always been my opinion that isolated from the crowds, one could go topless, if someone stops and questions, just say in a european accent ';I did not know'; and re-dress.
