6 Adults going to Orlando in March.........What to do?
';If you have any suggestions on what to do';
That%26#39;s a pretty broad question. After all, there are 7 major theme parks, two main shopping, restaurantand nightclub areas that cater to tourists, one super high class waterpark, a myriad of restaurants ranging from $3.99 buffets to themed restaurants to restaurants that cost from $50-$100+ per plate to dinner shows with horses and other things, one Cirque du Soleil show, the House of Blues, at least three factory-type outlet malls, and higher class shopping malls, all in the touristy areas of Orlando. Then you have flea markets, state parks for nature watching, Park Ave (Winter Park) boutique shopping, offbeat attractions, and places to go antiquing, etc. And then you have a number of beaches.
I suggest you look up allearsnet.com and/or fodors.com for info on what to do on a trip to Orlando, so you can narrow down what kind of things you%26#39;d like to do in Orlando. And just browse some of the older discussions on here for ideas. As far as beaches are concerned, just do a search for ';beaches'; in the Orlando search forum, and you see a number of topics on beaches, and suggestions and debates on where to go.

Did I mention all of the golf courses here in Orlando and in the touristy areas? Check back posts on those as well.
For a quiet beach try Canaveral National Seashore.
www.nps.gov/cana/ Maybe 90 minutes away.
On the Gulf coast try Fort De Soto
www.pinellascounty.org/park/05_Ft_DeSoto.htm
This would be maybe 2+ hours or there abouts.
If you really are willing to make a very long day trip, try Sanibel Island. I%26#39;ve done it more than once in a single day, but it will be a very long one. Best shelling beach in North America. www.sanibel-captiva.com
And also, consider seeing the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. I like the mansion, built by John Ringling of circus fame, and the circus museum, the carriage house has some neat old circus wagons. Nice place for lunch on the grounds. www.ringling.org/
Hope this helps.
There%26#39;s also the town of Mount Dora, about 25 miles northwest of Orlando, full of art galleries, antique stores, and specialty restaurants.
The Atlantic coast is about 45 minutes east of Orlando. My favorite stop is Cocoa Beach, but it can be nice to just drive down along the coast, stopping at anything that catches your attention. Just don%26#39;t get too distracted or you%26#39;ll be in Miami before you know it! You could also take a day trip and tour St. Augustine%26#39;s old section.
