Florida forums: Need help planning family vacation-Dec...

Hello Voyager Mom and all others! Am helping a family of 5 w/their upcoming vacation. They are flying in to Orlando, and will be doing the Disney thing. We need affordable accommodation ideas w/kitchen if possible, car rental suggestions, and places to see: the ';not to be missed'; and ';those to avoid';. Also suggestions for Christmas Eve and Day. They also want good beaches where the water is warm, but not too crowded. They mentioned Cocoa Beach, Daytona, but have no other thoughts. Welcome all ideas and suggestions. Also, are there any busier days than others at the Disney and other theme parks?? Thanks for your help! :)

try www.viator.com they have a range of tours to beaches and other places and attractions to suit all kinds of peoples tastes, there is bound to be something there for everyone..one tour we have booked up on next time we go is the beach and boat tour, you can go and see the dolphins in the wild around the boat (can not wait)...

If going to disney, I would advise going around the beginning of the trip. The week after Christmas is extremely crowded. I would also advise doing the Magic Kingdom Christmas, which is after park hours - you pay extra but it is worth it. When I rented a car I went on priceline.com and was able to rent a brand new van for only $36 a day. As far a accomodations, try these websites.
