Hi can anyone recommend any excursions/activities around or from the international drive area?.Last year(our first)we had the five park flexi ticket(universal st and IOA,seaworld wet and wild and busch gardens)and we also had a day at the magic kingdom with the kids aged 12 and 8.Does anyone recommend something different?,any help gratefully received.
Recommended excursions/activities?
If you have a car, head to Umatilla and go to Amazing Exotics. It is about an hours drive and you can get up close and personal with a variety of animals. My 11 yo loved the encounter tour where we got to interact with some monkeys.
Recommended excursions/activities?
You might also try the helicopter tours over Orlando. my 11 yo really enjoyed that as well.
MGM, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagood? All Disney!!
Our family went fishing off Atlantic Coast once. All boy day out - and they really enjoyed it.
Crazy golf
Epcot
Disneyquest
Cinema at Universal (if its stormy)
Cape Canaveral
Down to Clearwater beach for the day
Typhoon Lagoon is a must if you haven%26#39;t been there yet.
Friends of our went to a national park where they canoed and did nature walks etc and they really enjoyed that. Can%26#39;t remember the name of the park but I am sure it would be easily found on google or on this site somewhere.
Without a Car ( or maybe even with a Car depending on how you feel) check out:

I %26#39;ve been twice with them now on 5 Tours:
Clearwater
Busch Gardens
Silver Springs ( www.silversprings.com) Fantastic place to visit
All Day shopping tour
Kennedy Space Centre
They all include Round Trip transportation from and back to your Hotel, and also the relevant Admission Tickets too.
There are other Tours too.
Many thanx guys,a few good pointers there, will give it serious thought, only 2 weeks to go!
What about Discovery Cove? Nice tranquil oasis. You can lay on the ';beach';, snorkel, float down a lazy river, swim with dolphins, lunch is included as well as a 7day pass to either Busch Gardens or Sea World. The park limits guests to 1000 per day. It is right across the street from Sea World. Be warned, though, it is not cheap, but swimming with the dolphins is a very unique experience.
Oh, and its best to reserve ahead of time, but I did see some people who arrived and waited to see if they could get in ';stand-by';.
Have fun!
