I have read very good reviews about the Comfort Suites Maingate East hotel located in Kissimmee. I love that area as places like Wal-Mart, Target, a lot of restaurants and Old Town is very near each other and on the same street. But somehow I feel that the Lake Buena Vista area is more upscale. In that place I am interested in the Marriott Courtyard Hotel.
What I want is a hotel with excellent reputation, wich is secure, clean and comfortable and that will honor my reservation. Wich place do you think is better, Comfort Suite Maingate East in Kissimmee or Marriott Courtyard in Lake Buena Vista. Also, how far (and difficult to get) is Lake Buena Vista from Kissimmee (Old Town area, I think is the 192 street)??
Thank you much!
Lake Buena Vista or Kissimmee?
I havn%26#39;t stayed at either hotel but I have noticed the Marriott Courtyard Lake Buena Vista and it looks very nice. Most Marriott hotels are nice, we stayed in one at Sanford before our flight home last year.
As a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers we always stay in a privately owned condo or villa as you get so much more room for your money and favour the Kissimmee area.
Kissimmee in just down the I4 from Lake Buens Vista, the 192 runs east to west through Kissimmee. Lake Buena Vista is closer to the Disney Parks, Sea World Universal Studios and IOA.
Hope this is of some use to you.
Lake Buena Vista or Kissimmee?
we stayed at the comfort suites maingate east in April 2004 and found it a nice hotel, the rooms were big and clean, nice swimming pool and you get a free buffet breakfast thrown in {muffins waffles cereals toast tea coffee etc} It is right near the old town which was nice to have a wander around the shops. I would recomend this hotel and would rate it about a three star.

My wife and I have stayed in Kissimmee every spring for several years but in February we stayed at the Fairfield at LBV, which is on the same site as the Courtyard, we were converted!
The location cannot be bettered and the hotel was excellent with a free breakfast. I talked to one of the regular guests and his comment was the Courtyard was very good, but the rooms were smaller than the Fairfield.
It is only a ten or fifteen minute drive to the superwalmart on the 192.
