Howl at the moon?

Has anyone been here? We are planning a trip this weekend and are staying at Pelican Beach Resort for the 1st time... We have had this trip pd for and planned for 4 months. I have heard from others that this place is a fun place for people to go? We are not big ';party'; people but would just like to kick back and have a good time and maybe sing along to some good old songs? Input anyone?

Howl at the moon?

Never been to the Howl at the Moon in Destin, but have been to their Chicago location to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends a few years ago. It is a bit rowdier %26amp; more upbeat than a typical piano bar - I had a blast. It%26#39;s definitely a great place for a group outing. Sometimes they pull people from the audience to help them out onstage (embarrassing some of them - myself included.) Even if you%26#39;re not into the group participation stuff, you can have a lot of fun just sitting at your table and singing along.

The Okaloosa Island location is the same theme as Chicago. Dueling pianos that put on a comedy show. There is definite crowd participation and most of the jokes are of adult nature.

GREAT! We look forward to it. Thank you for the input! I had visited a dueling piano bar on my girls trip to Vegas in April and had such a blast! I couldn%26#39;t stop talking about it to my husband so now he wants to see what it is all about. Thank you for the responses! We hope to have a good time. THere are six of us going for a long weekend and this will hopefully be one of the highlights of our trip

Howl is a FUN place to go! The crowd is great and the shows are even better. Sunday night is comedy night...big name comedians! If you are still in the mood to catch a few drinks, head over to the Swamp right next door
