I%26#39;m going to be staying at the Sanibel harbour resort %26amp; spa next May for my wedding. Can anyone recommend any good restaurants, bars and microbreweries nearby, I%26#39;ve heard the restaurants in the resort are expensive?

The Prawnbroker on McGregor Blvd is a good place in Ft Myers. Although you%26#39;ll need to pay the toll to get over to Sanibel, Grandma Dot%26#39;s is a favorite of mine (get the grilled fish and Key Lime Pie) right on the east end not far from the causeway. Go on up and visit Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on sanibel one day and then keep going up to Captiva where there%26#39;s 4 of my favorite places, The Mucky Duck, just off the beach, Bubble Room, a very funky place for lunch, RC Otters and Key Lime Bistro across the street from each other on Andy Rosse lane. All except the Bubble Room often have some kind of live entertainment. Doc Ford%26#39;s in on San-cap Raod on the way to Ding Darling and is also a good place for food with a caribbean flavor.
I%26#39;m sure some of the locals can offer more options on the FtM side of the causeway.

Go to the Sanibel/Captiva restaurant guide. It will have prices for you on some of the places. I have found that we all have a different version of expensive. Also, checkout their websites if they are available for pictures.
