pre-cruise Four points by Sheraton

Going on a cruise Jan 22. Will be in town for 3 nigths before leaving on the cruise. Was looking to stay at the Four points by Sheraton Miami Beach....

We are in our early 30%26#39;s. Would like the beach and some fun at night...How far from the action qould that hotel be?

The Four Points by Sheraton, being at 4343 Collins Ave, is north of 43 Street making it on the north end of Miami Beach. I%26#39;m guessing it is around 2 miles from the heart of South Beach.

If you want to better experience South Beach, I%26#39;d consider staying at a hotel that is south of say 20th street (and definitely south of 22nd street). The great places to walk include Lincoln Road (between 16th and 17th), Espanola Way (between 14th and 15th), and Ocean Drive (runs N and S with the action area from say 5th street to 15th street). The clubs are mostly on Washington and great restaurants are all over the place.

We typically tell our friends that want to stay directly on the beach to say on Collins south of 18th Street (no more north than where the Shore Club is located) and north of around 15th street. If you want a smaller hotel that is directly across the street from the beach, then check out many of the cool boutique hotels that are located on Ocean Drive.

We%26#39;re in our mid-40s and happy to report that we too like the beach and some fun at night :). Therefore, we always stay in SoBe and on the beach!
