My fianc茅%26#39; and I are professionals in our mid 50%26#39;s. We would like to rent a private home with a private pool on the water, mid week sometime in the Sept 24-Oct 21 %26#39;05 time frame.
Obviously it doesn%26#39;t need to be large, but it must be clean, private and in excellent condition.
We are not sure what toll if any Katrina took on the island.
We read the other comments, thanks Shrimper, and it would seem that we might be best off on the EAST END/Beachfront vs. the Plantation (which not having been there reads as if the homes there are NOT on the water).
If anyone has had good luck with a local realtor or a favorite property, please let us know. This will be a special time for us and I want to make it as perfect as possible for her.
