I am planning on taking my daughter and grandson to Disneyworld next April while my grandson is on his spring break. I need all kinds of information about whether to stay on site, whether to rent a car at the airport, which parks I need to visit, etc. ANYTHING YOU CAN HELP ME WITH WILL BE APPRECIATED VERY MUCH.
Need help in planning Disneyworld trip.
A lot of this has been covered in past threads. Try searching within the Orlando Forum.
First time? If so I like on-site without a car, focusing on just Disney properties. Next trip, off-site with car so much exploring!

Here are the related web sites that can help plan and maximize your enjoyment:

How old are your grandkids and how long will you be here ?
If WDW is all you%26#39;re going to do, staying on property has a lot of advantages including free on-property transportation. However, keep in mind that WDW Transportation does not go off-site except to service OIA and Port Canaveral.
royt5,
If this is your first trip to Disney I would definitely plan on staying at a Disney resort! I wouldn%26#39;t rent a car, because Disney offers free transporation to and from the airport now. All your transportation is included to all the Disney parks including Downtown Disney. Write back on your price range for resort rates and then I can help you with resort choices.
I agree with the others. If this is your first trip, stay onsite and forget about renting a car. Visit all the Disney parks with the kids. There is something at each one to enjoy. You might also go to the Disney website and request a free planning guide.
Be prepared to wait in line. Everyone comes here during spring break and it gets crazy. If you want any dinner reservations anywhere in Disney, you should make them now.
You mentioned waiting in long lines. Is there some kind of Fast Track tickets that you can get that lets you get on rides at certain times? They have them at 6 Flags. Also, are you saying that dinner reservations should be made now for next spring. Thanks
royt5,
You can book most dinner reservations 90 days in advance.
You don%26#39;t have to pay extra to use Disney%26#39;s Fast Pass. Just go to the rides that offer it, you slip your park ticket into the machine and out comes a time period when to return and you practically walk right in. Once you use your fastpass for one attraction you can get a new fast pass time for another attraction.
