good hotel for family

Look at the 3 hotels at the Marriott Village - Fairfield, Courtyard and Springhill. In Lake Buena Vista. Highly recommend all 3 - marriottvillage.com

good hotel for family

If you looking for average, but clean and comfortable, value for money accomodation with great buffet breakfasts ( free for the toddlers) and some nice restuarant literally within a 5 minute walk from your room (Black Angus Steakhouse, Perkins Family Restaurant, Sizzlers, Bob Evans, International House of Pancakes) along the new sidewalks on US192, then would recommend :

The Holiday Inn Nikki Bird.

7300 Irlo Bronson Highway (known also as US192-West)

Book direct at: www.ichotelsgroup.com.

For a week, and also bearing in mind it%26#39;s no more than say a 10 minute ride to the Disney Parks this would not be a bad choice at all.

Good Luck

hi...trybest western movieland only 28 pounds per room per night with mainstreetonline.co.uk.....they do a range of hotels on i- drive plus kissimmee and l.b.v....

I just got back from Florida a couple of weeks ago I stayed in the Hampton Inn (Hilton Group) Lake Bueana Vista for six nights which was a superb location only a couple of minutes from Downtown Disney.

The room cost $69 (拢40ish) per night inclusive of a decent buffet breakfast.

The Marriott Village hotels mentioned in a previous post are in a good location on the opposite side of I4 from the Hampton Inn. They too sound like a good bet.

Personally having stopped previously in International Drive and Highway 192 (Kissimmee), I would suggest the Buena Vista area as it is more classy and not tacky like those areas.

I also stayed in the Royal Pacific Resort (Universal on site hotel)

for four nights. This cost around $199 per night which puts it close to your budget when you consider the rate included entrance to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for the duration of the stay. This is a lovely hotel will many facilities including a superb pool, water taxi to the parks, restaurants kids club gym etc. etc. If honest though and I went again I would save the money and stop at the Hampton Inn.

The Hampton In is on a road called Palm Parkway and I discovered that this is a quiet and quick back route to Universal and Sea World taking out I4 which can be very congested.

US192 East is Tacky, not US192-West.

Nice Sidewalks there too now and very easy to walk to so many resturants within a few yards of each other.

Holiday inn Nikki Bird is in a great location-US192 West

thank you all for the replys, gonna do a research on them all

I agree with Kingedgy about Hampton it is clean, safe and you get a breakfast and it is Hilton run. Great prices for a week.

Now let me get this right is Holiday Inn NIcki Bird OK, Renfield?

Hi Paddy, We stayed in the LikkiTikki on 192 w in 03 and it%26#39;s great for kids as it has it%26#39;s own water park. Our 3 loved it and wanted to leave the parks to go swimming in the pool!!It%26#39;s right at the end of 192, but it%26#39;s only about 10 mins from Disney world. A word of advice is avoid the ';free breakfast and $75 '; phone call as it%26#39;s timeshare and a pain . We wasted hours trying to get away from them and when they saw we weren%26#39;t interested they got up in a huff and I had to chase after them for the $75 . Thats the onlt thing I wish I %26#39;d known before staying here. Otherwise it%26#39;s first clas and has reasonable rates if you book direct!

thanks gariem,will check it out
