Sheraton Vistana Resort

We stayed at the Vistana a few years ago and liked it, but now we much prefer a private villa. The Vistana is ';condominium'; style and a villa with its own pool will give you more room for the same cost or less.

Just came back from there in July, I have mixed feelings. Before we went, I read the reviews and asked for Casades (supposed to be newest, nicest) one bedroom. Well, it was very, very tiny and the carpets were disgustingly filthly. The overall resort though, was very well kept and clean (as well as the pools). Nice activities throughout the day for the kids. I did read that the carpets, etc. were scheduled to be replaced later his year. Have a nice trip.

Apparently although the Cascades apartments are the newest they are also the smallest - particularly some of the one bedroom apartments which are actually the smaller half of a 2 bedroom lockoff! I have been recommended by a regular visitpr to the Vistana Resort to ask for Lakes or Fountains as these are still quite new and have just been remodelled!

All I know is we%26#39;ll be neighbors for the week because we%26#39;ll be staying at Marriott%26#39;s World Center! I hear it%26#39;s a very close drive to Disney and Pirates Cove mini golf!!

Jill, you can see the Marriot World Centre hotel from the Vistana Resort, yes it is VERY close!

I just spent a week at the Vistana. This was my second year there and my family and I love. last year we stayed in the Cascades section which are newer. This year we stayed in the Palms which are older but more spacious. I highly recommend the resort. Not only is it conveniently located, you have everything there at the resort. I always hit the Walmart and do my grocery shopping instead of the general store. They have great activities for the whole family. I plan on buying in the Fountains section. Hope this was helpful.

Could any one please tell me what the prices are at the Vistana for things like the miniature golf, bicycle rentals and massage services or where I can find this information? I can%26#39;t find anything on their website. This is my Christmas present to myself and my family and I%26#39;m just trying to stay within budget. Thanks for any information!
