i recall that when answering a previous post you said you had eaten christmas lunch at wilderness lodge and then went on a sleigh ride. we will be at disney on christmas day with two teenagers aged 16 and 17 do you think they would enjoy and could you confirm were you dined as i think they may enjoy a buffett style meal rather than sit down. also will i need the make a reservation.
for healin christmas day at disneyHi belfastbabe,
I haven%26#39;t gone on the sleigh ride yet, but I did check on the prices for our upcoming December trip which is $30.00 per carriage for a 30 minute ride. Another poster did say they really enjoyed it and thought it was fun! We did eat at Wilderness Lodge%26#39;s Whispering Canyon Cafe which is a all you can eat meal. Yes, I would recommend it as it was very good. We also enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom which has a great all you can eat feast served family style that includes turkey, steak, pork chops, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes vegetables and stuffing. Perfect hearty meal for teenagers. The character%26#39;s come around, (they pretend they%26#39;re too cool but actually they still love it!) The Garden Grill at Epcot has a all you can eat family style meal, which I have already booked that is also included in the Candlelight Processional package for our upcoming trip. I highly recommend the Candlelight Processional also! Any other questions, I%26#39;d be happy to help if I can!
for healin christmas day at disneythanks healin1 i had thought of having christmas lunch at a resort as i was a bit wary of going to parks on christmas day due to the crowds. however as christmas day is the last day of our holiday the candlelight procession sounds like a wonderful way to finish christmas at disney.
belfastbabe,
I found Magic Kingdom to be the worse park on Christmas Day. We always do Epcot Christmas Eve or Day, this year on Christmas Day, the Processional is beautiful, a must do!!!
I am sold epcot garden grill it is i will make reservations tomorrow. many thanks for your help not only with this question as i have also used your advise to other posters to plan this holiday. Thanks again and if you hear a family with northern irish accents while eating christmas dinner be sure to say hello.
belfastbabe,
Too cool! We may meet up on Christmas Day! I will listen for your accent! My maiden name was Callahan, my Grandparents who passed when my father was very young was born in Dublin. I love your accents!!!! And your going to love the Candlelight! Make sure you make the dinner reservation 2 hours before show time as the Garden Grill is a little bit of a hike.
will do. as they say at disney its a small world after all. thanks again
