Here is the link for Pointe Orlando. I can%26#39;t see anything about an Apple store but maybe the list is not as up to date as it could be. I am sure you will get replies from someone just back or over in Florida.

We were at pointe orlando in July and fao schwartz was vacant then, don%26#39;t know if anyones taken it over since then but didn%26#39;t see any coming soon signs in any of the windows.

We were there in August and nothing was in it%26#39;s place then. There was work going on, signs being pulled down and fixtures and fittings were being removed. We were told by someone local that the Pointe Orlando shopping complex was getting a complete overhall and they were expecting it to be finished around summer 2006. At that time no one seemed to know what was going to be there instead of Fao Schwartz. But things change quickly and by now someone out there may know what store is going to be there.

Let me start off by explaining what FAO Shwartz was to those who do not know what it was, FAO Shwartz was a toy department store, unfortunatly thier business declined through the past several years and they had to close down some of thier stores including the Orlando location.

The FAO Shwartz store was pernmanently closed last year, the large bear and doll sculptures outside the stores were removed and auctioned, and the building itself appears to have been demolished. I passed by it last weekend and that entire section of Pointe Orlando is covered by construction walls and heavy construction. From what I read in an article last year, Pointe Orlando is going to fully renovate and expand that section of the complex. Checkout the Pointe Orlando website, they should have updates on the construction work.
