Endeavour - Moderator please!

I just reviewed some of your responses to other%26#39;s inquiring and have to say, you%26#39;re walking a very thin line. You may wish to review the posting guidelines for this board. If you can%26#39;t comply and play nice with others, maybe you need to get lost. TripAdvisor Moderator, can we have your position on this guy? Can we get him banned unless he promises to take his medication and play nice?

Endeavour - Moderator please!

Why not review the rest of Endeavour%26#39;s responses so you can truly and accurately pass judgement ?

Endeavour - Moderator please!

If you have a problem with a posting by Endeavour or anyone else, click the %26#39;Report inappropriate response%26#39; link and by all means, report it. It is the very best way to handle these things and alert the trip forum people. I%26#39;ve noticed some of his replies have been removed, so others have already taken this action on some responses. The call belongs to Trip Advisor. He does seem to enjoy denigrating people who ask questions he feels are beneath him.

At the risk of getting myself ';in trouble:'; Endeavour provides a lot of helpful information to the users of this forum. These forums are all about expressing opinions and providing helpful information, and he does that. He has more experience traveling the state than most of us, and many of us find him to be very helpful. If you don%26#39;t like his tone, which is a common problem in this kind of communication, I suggest you give him a piece of your mind or ignore him, but please don%26#39;t deprive the rest of us of his insight.

Islandkitty - While I agree Endeavour has much worthwhile information to share, he seems to all too often share it with a heavy dose of scarcasm and condescension. I%26#39;ve read many of your posts and never once have you felt the need to demean the person asking for help however obvious it may seem. There are times when I wonder where the balance of knowledge and attitude should be struck, but I doubt anyone, however mellow, enjoys seeing themselves put down on an open forum.

very well put Earlybrass!

Agree with IslandKitty. Endeavor may say some things that are VERY sarcastic but I have learned alot from his posts. Just ignore him if you don%26#39;t like him.

I don%26#39;t have a problem with ignoring his comments, but that%26#39;s kind of ironic considering what some people are questioning is his ability to %26#39;ignore%26#39; the questions he feels aren%26#39;t worth asking! That way, his insight and wisdom is shared without making people feel bad. He shouldn%26#39;t respond out of frustration (which doesn%26#39;t add to the tone of this site) but just be a little %26#39;choosier%26#39; in the replies he makes. That way everyone is happy!

I agree with Katie and Island Kitty.. He has a dry sense of humor, he is helpful...I enjoy having him here...

It would be nice if Endeavour would only answer the questions he feels are worthy and ignore the rest. This way, we could have his knowledge without his condescending attitude. We leave for Florida 9 days from now and I am hesitant to post because of this. My feeling is that this sight is about selling a product. If people are turned off then they will look to other sights and other forums.

No one should use this site to make ANYONE feel uncomfortable about asking a question.. He usually starts be telling you he thinks your pretty much stupid, then proceeds to answer your question, but after the introduction you don%26#39;t care for any advise from him. If he was the only one I spoke to, I%26#39;d trave in the opposite direction..
