I am looking into where to stay when I come down next summer that are dog-friendly. Courtney%26#39;s is in my price range and looks like a good location. BUT....I read the reviews and there were a couple of people who said the a/c in their rooms didn%26#39;t work well or completely went out. Someone said they couldn%26#39;t get a hold off a staff member to even report it. My dog has epilepsy and if he gets too hot, he can have multiple seizures. Does anyone have 1st hand info on the a/c in the cottages? Ever stayed there? Any problems with the a/c? I realize this is a VERY specific question, but any input would be greatly apprecited! Thanks!
Courtney's Place a/c problems
No experience with Courtney%26#39;s but you might be better off calling them- they may be able to put you in a room with a newer AC? I assume they are wall units.
Personally, I would rather stay somewhere with central AC if I had a pet with that kind of condition. good luck!
Courtney's Place a/c problems
Stayed at Courtney%26#39;s a couple of times a few years ago and had no problem with the A/C. We were very satisfied with our stays and have recommended this guesthouse many time. They do use wall units. If I were you I%26#39;d use the old fashioned telephone to check with them about your concerns.
Hi,
We stayed at Francis Street Bottle Inn as well as Olivia by Duval. Both are great locations and the air worked fine.
Good luck!

I second the Frances St Bottle Inn. It is pet friendly and really nice!
6 blocks from Duval and 4 from the docks. I really enjoyed meeting all the locals walking their dogs every day. Lots of fun!

I stayed at Courtney%26#39;s last May 2004 in two different rooms over a 4 night stay (because the same room was not available for one of the nights when we called to book it)
We did not have a problem with the A/C in either of the rooms, it actually got very cool quickly with the units. We also have highly recommended this B%26amp;B to others and we will be returning there on part of our honeymoon this October.
