Halloween Parties in Sobe

Halloween falls on Monday this year and we will be in Sobe the Fri, Sat, and Sun before. I figure most clubs have some kind of bash, but is there anything special going on? One club have a better bash than others? Are costumes popular, a must, or are you a dork if you wear one?

Costumes are VERY popular on South Beach (even without Halloween, lol). Two of the best things about Halloween in Miami:

1. Lincoln Rd.

Get there early, find a cafe with outdoor seating (Nexxt is in a great location), order up your favorite drink and watch the parade of costumes stroll up and down the road all night. It%26#39;s a great party with friends... you get to see all these crazy and elaborate costumes and dress up yourself if you want. Lots of fun without the hassle.

2. The Halloween Ball at Vizcaya Palace and Gardens.

This is THE biggest Halloween bash in town held at the Vizcaya Palace in Miami (about a 10 min. cab drive from South Beach). It%26#39;s a real masqerade ball and people go all out; very beautiful and elaborate costumes. Tickets are expensive, but I *believe* it%26#39;s open bar, although you should double-check that. If you go, get tickets early b/c they sell out quickly.

Lots of clubs and bars have Halloween parties and almost everyone dresses up. Have fun!

CMG. Thank you for the info. Sounds like great fun. Just wondering if this all happens on Monday Oct. 31 (Halloween Night) or does any go on the 28th, 29th, or 30th? Unfortunately, I am leaving Sobe the 31st so I would miss the fun. Monday is the worst day to have Halloween in my opinion. Sux it falls on Mon this year.

Usually, there are a lot of Halloween parties the weekend closest to Halloween, so you%26#39;re safe.

The Vizcaya party is on Sat, 10/29. Check out some details here (admission is $95, btw):
