Condition now? (ophelia) HELP!!

Hi,

We had planned on leaving for NSB today, but Ophelia delayed our decision. Can anyone give me a quick state of the beach after it has moved on? We%26#39;d love to still make the trip and leave Sunday 9-11.

We were there today. As usual, when a big storm is close, the surf is big and confused. But, the big storm draws the heat and humidity out of here. Today was bright, sunny and (for Florida) not too humid. Come on down!

What a great and wonderful trip! Perfect weather all week, seemed like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Could hardly tell any hurricane had ever passed through. Stayed at the Colony Beach Club, where we%26#39;ve stayed many times over the past 30 years. The place is well kept and has a unique charm. Norwoods and JB%26#39;s were great as always. New Smyrna is still a 10!!!!
